I really enjoyed Book one. Now I cant wait to read the rest in the series. R.A Steffan is a new author for me and in excited to read more of her books.

I enjoyed the story however it did slow down a few times. I will read the next one in series.

Being a fan of R.A Steffan I immediately picked up this book. Glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I devoured it up. Both authors did an awesome job, can't wait till the next one comes out..

Enjoyed, Tre' and Della/ Irina the tale of lost love found and the challenges that arise. A welcoming introduction to the start of the series. The battle of good and evil will have dawning. of the victory. Della was a scared fighter who had strong weaken spirit. Tre was suffering from the sins of the past then he awaken to Della/ Irina found lost love. The battle for the spirit soul commence . On to the next book..

At first I didn’t like it because I was like nobody can have luck this bad!!! Then I got past that and to the back story of Tré and I was captivated!

This is a well written q. The author brought the characters to life. The storyline was very good. I !o ok forward to reading a next book in the series.

4.5 Stars - due to a slight editing issue, and a typical outcome to one of the storylines.We are introduced to a group of six vampires; Tre, Xander, Eris, Duchess, Oksana and Snag,and a human that goes by Della. As you would imagine, their worlds collide, which becomes one of the storylines for this first book in a six book series.The book is in the POV of either Tre or Della. Tre has been around a while, and we learn about his lost love Irina, and how he became a vampire. Della is a receptionist, who lives alone and is not sleeping well. We are given her backstory, and she recounts her dreams, which wakes her in the night. Between these two, we also learn about Bael, the demon wreaking havoc in New Orleans. It is because of this demon that the lives of Tre and Della intersect, which leads to the plotline of the series.I like vampire books, and always enjoy a different interpretation from one author to another. I really liked these vampires, and what they are capable of. The characters are believable, and I am particularly looking forward to Snag's story. I found this world interesting, well written and immersive.Overall, if you like vampire books this one I recommend. Easy to read and follow, likeable characters, and ample back stories for the two main characters. I will be continuing the series.

I stumbled upon this book on a Facebook ad. I loved this book and quickly devoured it. It is a very different and intersting take on Vampires and their history.

This book has it all. Love, mystery, and action. Although its a bit repetitive and sometimes theres parts that make it feel as though your reading a fairy tale story.... All that can be overlooked by the amazing story. Its so good. I almost couldnt put it down. So worth reading and im going to get the second one ASAP!

It was a refresher for me about Vampires. The simplicity, yet power. It's a reminder of how much evil really is in this world as well. The book read smooth, no errors that I could see. I look forward to reading the next installment of this series.

An interesting twist of a vampire story; I liked this version. A coven of six vampires are in New Orleans during a time when unexplained violence is breaking out. Their honor compels them to help humans as they can. They learn the violence is the result of a demon intent on revenge targeting a human woman to complete his task. Looking forward to the next book.

Ok, Trè is my new book boyfriend... Damn, what a **** man ... er, vampire!I do want to say something — normally, (w/a few exceptions) erotica is all about hot **** & usually a kind of "outline" of a story. This one had hot ****, but it had more love/nobility/romance than a lot of books I've read; plus, the storyline is changed up to things that are completely unique in vampire love stories. Major Kiddos to both writers, Steffan & Woolf!I think •I• fell in love with Tré faster than Della did! *happy sigh*So -- 5 stars for being sexyFor being romanticFor being original in a genre that's beendone ... (dare I say?) to death. *wince*sorry! I couldn't resist! 😏For the suspense & drama,And for being funny, too!Can't WAIT to read the series!
